Carefolio
Privacy Policy
Carefolio holds health information about you and your family, so we keep as little as possible: records stay on your iPhone unless you turn on family sharing, and we never sell, rent or use them for advertising.
1. Who we are
Carefolio is made by ThanhLabs, an independent developer. Questions about this policy or your data: support@thanhlabs.com or the Support page.
2. What stays on your iPhone
Depending on what you add, Carefolio stores on the device:
- People you care for: name, relationship, date of birth, blood type, allergies and conditions
- Medicines, doses and the doses taken or skipped
- Appointments, doctors and clinics
- Readings such as blood pressure, glucose, weight and temperature
- Journal notes, questions for the doctor, and photos of documents (prescriptions, insurance cards)
3. The assistant
When you use Ask Carefolio, the app sends to our server carefolio.thanhlabs.com (run on Cloudflare) your message and recent chat, and the records the assistant needs to answer (for example one person’s medicines or recent readings). The assistant only drafts changes; nothing is saved until you tap Save.
Our server passes the request to an AI model provider (currently OpenAI; we may also use Anthropic) through its business API and sends the answer back. Under those providers' API terms, the content is not used to train their models and is kept only for a limited time (up to 30 days) for abuse monitoring. Our server does not store or log what you write; it keeps only standard request logs (time, status, IP address) and a random install identifier for a short time to stop abuse.
4. Family sharing (optional)
If you create or join a family circle, the shared records and document photos are stored on our server so every member can see them: records in a Cloudflare D1 database and photos in Cloudflare R2 storage, encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by Cloudflare. We also store each member’s display name and device type, and hashed access tokens and invite codes. Family members can use the iPhone app or the web app at carefolio.thanhlabs.com.
For change alerts we store each device’s Apple Push Notification token or web push address. Notifications contain short summaries such as “Mai updated Mum’s medicines”.
5. Permissions
- Camera and photo library: to scan or attach documents you choose. Text is read by Apple’s on-device text recognition.
- Microphone and speech recognition: only while you hold the microphone button. Speech is turned into text by Apple’s speech recognition (on the device where supported, otherwise by Apple’s servers under Apple’s privacy policy). We never receive the audio.
- Face ID / passcode: optional app lock. iOS checks your face or passcode; the app only learns whether it succeeded.
- Notifications: medicine and appointment reminders are scheduled on the phone; family change alerts come through Apple’s push service.
6. Who can see your data
Only you, and members of a family circle you created or joined. Our service providers (Cloudflare for hosting, the AI provider for assistant requests, Apple for notifications) process data only to provide the service. We do not use health information for advertising or marketing and do not share it with insurers, employers or data brokers.
7. Purchases
Carefolio Plus is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Apple handles payment; we never see your card or Apple Account details. The app only checks with Apple whether your subscription is active.
8. No ads, no tracking
No advertising, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no data brokers. We do not sell or rent personal information and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
9. Keeping and deleting data
On the phone, data stays until you delete it or the app. In a family circle, the owner can remove members at any time; removed members lose access straight away. To delete a circle’s data from our server, email support@thanhlabs.com; we delete the records and photos within 30 days. Request logs are kept for up to 30 days.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or Vietnam’s Decree 13/2023), you may ask to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold, or object to its processing. Email support@thanhlabs.com; we answer within 30 days. Most data lives only on your device, where you can view, export and delete it yourself.
11. Children
Carefolio is for adults who look after others. Parents and guardians may keep records about their children; children should not use the app on their own.
12. Changes
We will update this page when the app changes how it handles data and change the “Last updated” date. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.

Carefolio giữ thông tin sức khoẻ của bạn và gia đình, nên chúng tôi giữ ít nhất có thể: hồ sơ nằm trên iPhone trừ khi bạn bật chia sẻ gia đình, và chúng tôi không bao giờ bán, cho thuê hay dùng chúng để quảng cáo.
1. Chúng tôi là ai
Carefolio do ThanhLabs, một nhà phát triển độc lập, làm ra. Mọi câu hỏi về chính sách này hoặc dữ liệu của bạn: support@thanhlabs.com hoặc trang Hỗ trợ.
2. Những gì nằm trên iPhone
Tuỳ những gì bạn thêm, Carefolio lưu trên máy:
- Người bạn chăm sóc: tên, quan hệ, ngày sinh, nhóm máu, dị ứng và bệnh
- Thuốc, liều dùng và các liều đã uống hoặc bỏ qua
- Lịch khám, bác sĩ và phòng khám
- Chỉ số như huyết áp, đường huyết, cân nặng, nhiệt độ
- Ghi chú, câu hỏi cho bác sĩ và ảnh giấy tờ (đơn thuốc, thẻ bảo hiểm)
3. Trợ lý
Khi bạn dùng Hỏi Carefolio, app gửi tới máy chủ carefolio.thanhlabs.com (chạy trên Cloudflare) tin nhắn và đoạn chat gần đây, cùng những hồ sơ trợ lý cần để trả lời (ví dụ thuốc hoặc chỉ số gần đây của một người). Trợ lý chỉ soạn nháp; không có gì được lưu cho tới khi bạn bấm Lưu.
Máy chủ của chúng tôi chuyển yêu cầu tới nhà cung cấp mô hình AI (hiện là OpenAI; có thể dùng thêm Anthropic) qua API dành cho doanh nghiệp rồi gửi câu trả lời về. Theo điều khoản API của các nhà cung cấp này, nội dung không được dùng để huấn luyện mô hình và chỉ được giữ trong thời gian ngắn (tối đa 30 ngày) để chống lạm dụng. Máy chủ của chúng tôi không lưu và không ghi log nội dung bạn viết; chỉ giữ log truy cập thông thường (thời gian, trạng thái, địa chỉ IP) và một mã cài đặt ngẫu nhiên trong thời gian ngắn để chống lạm dụng.
4. Chia sẻ gia đình (tuỳ chọn)
Nếu bạn tạo hoặc tham gia nhóm gia đình, các hồ sơ được chia sẻ và ảnh giấy tờ được lưu trên máy chủ để mọi thành viên cùng xem: hồ sơ trong cơ sở dữ liệu Cloudflare D1, ảnh trong kho Cloudflare R2, được mã hoá khi truyền (HTTPS) và khi lưu bởi Cloudflare. Chúng tôi cũng lưu tên hiển thị và loại thiết bị của từng thành viên, cùng mã truy cập và mã mời đã băm. Người nhà có thể dùng app iPhone hoặc bản web tại carefolio.thanhlabs.com.
Để báo khi có thay đổi, chúng tôi lưu mã thông báo đẩy của Apple hoặc địa chỉ web push của từng máy. Thông báo chỉ có nội dung ngắn như “Mai đã cập nhật thuốc của Mẹ”.
5. Quyền truy cập
- Camera và thư viện ảnh: để quét hoặc đính kèm giấy tờ bạn chọn. Chữ được đọc bằng tính năng nhận dạng chữ của Apple ngay trên máy.
- Micrô và nhận dạng giọng nói: chỉ khi bạn bấm nút micrô. Lời nói được chuyển thành chữ bởi tính năng nhận dạng giọng nói của Apple (trên máy nếu được hỗ trợ, nếu không thì trên máy chủ Apple theo chính sách của Apple). Chúng tôi không bao giờ nhận được âm thanh.
- Face ID / mật mã: khoá app (tuỳ chọn). iOS kiểm tra khuôn mặt hoặc mật mã; app chỉ biết kết quả đúng hay sai.
- Thông báo: nhắc uống thuốc và lịch khám được hẹn ngay trên máy; báo thay đổi trong nhóm gia đình đi qua dịch vụ thông báo đẩy của Apple.
6. Ai xem được dữ liệu
Chỉ bạn và thành viên của nhóm gia đình bạn tạo hoặc tham gia. Các nhà cung cấp dịch vụ (Cloudflare để lưu trữ, nhà cung cấp AI cho trợ lý, Apple cho thông báo) chỉ xử lý dữ liệu để vận hành dịch vụ. Chúng tôi không dùng thông tin sức khoẻ để quảng cáo hay tiếp thị và không chia sẻ cho công ty bảo hiểm, nhà tuyển dụng hay bên môi giới dữ liệu.
7. Mua hàng
Carefolio Plus được bán qua In-App Purchase của Apple. Apple xử lý thanh toán; chúng tôi không bao giờ thấy thẻ hay thông tin Apple Account của bạn. App chỉ hỏi Apple xem gói của bạn còn hiệu lực hay không.
8. Không quảng cáo, không theo dõi
Không quảng cáo, không SDK phân tích hay theo dõi, không bán dữ liệu cho bên môi giới. Chúng tôi không bán hay cho thuê thông tin cá nhân và không theo dõi bạn qua app hoặc website của công ty khác.
9. Lưu giữ và xoá dữ liệu
Trên máy, dữ liệu còn cho tới khi bạn xoá hoặc xoá app. Trong nhóm gia đình, chủ nhóm có thể xoá thành viên bất cứ lúc nào; người bị xoá mất quyền truy cập ngay. Để xoá dữ liệu của một nhóm trên máy chủ, gửi email tới support@thanhlabs.com; chúng tôi xoá hồ sơ và ảnh trong vòng 30 ngày. Log truy cập được giữ tối đa 30 ngày.
10. Quyền của bạn
Tuỳ nơi bạn sống (ví dụ theo GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA hoặc Nghị định 13/2023/NĐ-CP của Việt Nam), bạn có quyền yêu cầu xem, sửa, xuất hoặc xoá dữ liệu cá nhân chúng tôi đang giữ, hoặc phản đối việc xử lý. Gửi email tới support@thanhlabs.com; chúng tôi trả lời trong vòng 30 ngày. Phần lớn dữ liệu chỉ nằm trên máy bạn, nơi bạn có thể tự xem, xuất và xoá.
11. Trẻ em
Carefolio dành cho người lớn chăm sóc người khác. Cha mẹ và người giám hộ có thể ghi hồ sơ của con; trẻ em không nên tự dùng app.
12. Thay đổi
Chúng tôi sẽ cập nhật trang này khi app thay đổi cách xử lý dữ liệu và đổi ngày “Cập nhật lần cuối”. Thay đổi quan trọng cũng sẽ được thông báo trong app.
